The Milan Čopič Education Centre for Nuclear Technology of the Jožef Stefan Institute is an authorized provider of radiation protection training for individuals involved in radiation-related activities and for practitioners performing radiological procedures.

The Regulation on the Obligations of Radiation Activity Operators and Holders of Sources of Ionizing Radiation (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 43/18) stipulates that workers exposed to ionizing radiation in the course of their work must complete radiation protection training and pass an examination.
