As an authorised organisation, we conduct radiation protection training.
This is our most important course, designed to provide the foundational knowledge required by future operators of the Krško Nuclear Power Plant.

The Basics of Nuclear Power Plant Technology (OTJE) courses are intended for technical personnel working in a nuclear power plant who require basic knowledge of its operation.
They are also well suited for employees of research institutes, government bodies, or companies that cooperate with the Krško Nuclear Power Plant.
Occasionally, we also conduct specialized courses for staff of the Krško Nuclear Power Plant, the Slovenian Nuclear Safety Administration (URSJV), and other professionals working in the field of nuclear technology.
The Milan Čopič Nuclear Training Centre at the Jožef Stefan Institute is an authorised radiation protection training provider for individuals involved in radiation-related activities and for practitioners performing radiological procedures.
In accordance with regulatory requirements, we offer initial and refresher courses on the use of radiation sources in industry, medicine, and research activities.
In collaboration with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), ICJT has conducted over 100 international courses in various fields of nuclear technology and radiation protection.
ICJT is also an IAEA Regional Resource Centre. Today, we can confidently say that we are a well-known and established centre, recognised across Europe and worldwide.
Many courses have also been organised in cooperation with the European Union.
