Transportation ICJT - downtown Ljubljana

City bus No. 26 (timetable). The bus stop is on the main road south of the Centre and goes to downtown Ljubljana.

Don't panic: in Črnuče, a suburb north of the Sava river, the bus makes a big turn to the Slovenijales warehouse, almost halfway back to the Centre and goes then back to the main road. Don't worry, in the end you will get to downtown Ljubljana.

 Internet Access

Computers for internet access and e-mail are in the main lobby and in the nearby Cyber room.

E-mail address is:

guest_icjt@ijs.si

You can get your own temporary e-mail address for the time you will stay with us.

Virus Protection

Help us keep our computers virus-free.

Please refer to us if you want to copy floppy discs and we will check them for viruses.

Toilets

Toilets are in the lobby, in the basement and near the restaurant.

If you need our help...

On workdays you can call our secretary Mateja Južnik at 588 5252.

Hospital

Emergency medical care is available in downtown Ljubljana on Bohoričeva street, on the north side of the Clinical Centre. The nearest doctor is in the health centre in Črnuče.

Staff Phone Numbers

The last three numbers are also internal numbers for calls inside ICJT.

How do You Make Phone Calls from ICJT?

Inside ICJT: dial the three-digit internal number.

Calls in the Ljubljana Area Code (01): from any phone in the Centre dial 0 (no signal) and then dial the number you wish to call.

International Calls: from the pay phone in the lobby: insert a  phone card and dial first the Country Code, then the Area Code and then the phone number.

Phone Cards are available from the ICJT secretary, at all Post Offices and several other places downtown.

Mobile Phones

There are two GSM operators in Slovenia. Please turn off your mobile phones in the classroom. Ringing is very disturbing for other participants and lecturers.

Restaurant

The self-service restaurant is open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every workday. Two or three hot meals are available every day.

The restaurant offers various salads, cheese, yogurt, nonalcoholic beverages and sweets. Meals are purchased in the restaurant.

If you want some special food (vegetarian, no pork, no veal etc.) please talk to the cook, who will be happy to help you.

Coffee room

There is a coffee room in the lobby for your convenience. There is a coffee machine there, so you can make yourself a coffee or tea anytime you want. You can also use the refrigerator, but please mark your things.

Please put the dishes into the washing machine and clean the room after use.

Hot Beverages

There is also a hot beverages machine in our coffee room. The cost of a beverage is one token or 0,25 €. You can buy tokens from the secretary.
