ICJT.org - Our Activities

To train and educate professionals about nuclear technologies and radiation protection as well as contribute to the good public acceptance of these technologies

Our basic activites are:

training of Krško Nuclear Power Plant staff
radiation protection training
organization of international seminars
public information about nuclear technology

In addition we also:

help with the organization of professional meetings in Slovenia and abroad
rent lecture rooms
consult in the development of educational and information activities

Parallel to our regular work we have developed and maintain data bases about:

all the nuclear power plants in the world
all the radioactive waste repositories in the world

Statistics

To July 2008 we have organized:

418 courses with

6,436 participants,

2,161 lecturers,

which took

716 weeks,

or altogether 11,6810 participant-weeks.

Since 1993 our Info Centre has been visited by:

2,189 school groups with

101,672 pupils and students, and

7,205 teachers, for a total of

108,877 visitors.
