NPP Technology (TJE)
These are our most important courses, intended for training of future Krško NPP operators. In the past we have performed them in two parts. First 5 to 6 months were devoted to the theoretical training. In the second part, which also lasted almost half of the year, all technological systems of Krško NPP were described in detail.
Since the year 2000 a full-scope training simulator is installed in NPP Krško, therefore we are performing only the first, theoretical part of the initial training.
Basics of NPP Tech. (OTJE)
Courses are for technical personnel of the Nuclear Power Plant, that need to understand basic nuclear technology. It consists of two parts. In first four weeks we teach necessary theory:
- nuclear and reactor physics
- thermal-hydraulics and heat transfer
- radiation protection
- electrical engineering
- materials
- nuclear safety
During the second four weeks we teach basics about the important technological systems of the Krško NPP.
Radiation protection
We are authorized institution for training in radiation protection for different profiles. We can provide the initial and refresher training for work with radioactive substances or equipment. We offer wide choice of courses for different customers. We would be happy to tailor our courses also to the particular needs of your organization.
Courses for Krško NPP (NEK - razno)
In addition to two main Courses (THE and OTJE) we are providing also other training for NPP personnel according to specific needs. This includes wide spectra of refresher courses, specialized simulator courses etc.
International
It is a part of our vision to become established international nuclear training centre. We have been gaining experience over the years and today we can say that we are well known in the field of nuclear education in Europe and in the rest of the world.
Miscellaneous
We are flexible to prepare any kind of training depending on the needs. We can take over just the logistics of preparations or prepare everithing from the design of the training to the final evaluation.
